About the Client:  

A state government transport organization with branches in almost 150 locations. It stands fully committed to fully computerized citizen friendly services. It continues to ensure that the department is constantly refined in the administration of its processes and procedures to reduce time delays and achieve the stated mission of being a responsive transport department. 

Scope of Work: 

• Interconnecting all the branches and the main branch which is located in Hyderabad with leased Lines.  
• Share all the applications across the network. 
•  To make the valuable data flow securely across the network.

Our Approach:

Considerations:  

• Detailed survey of the project was conducted.
• The connectivity and the path in which the data should flow were considered.
• Full Mesh topology is deployed across the wide area network.

The Solution: 

• Most of the network devices across the state were from Cisco. The central site has Nortel routers
  
• First and for most we have connected all the site with dynamic routing protocol ospf for fast convergence. We have also created some backup static routes.
• Then for secure transfer of data we have created GRE tunnel (Generic routing Encapsulation) in the core Nortel router and also tunnels in all the branch routers. Data is transferred through tunnel interface thus ensuring security and integrity.
